Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of Oqda. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them, so please read them carefully.

The service

Oqda is an online platform that helps you draft and review contracts, negotiate them with the other party, and follow their payments, obligations and renewal, with an AI assistant.

Oqda is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. What the assistant writes or suggests is a draft to help you, and the final decision is yours. For large or complex contracts we recommend review by a licensed lawyer before signing.

Your account

Give accurate details when you register and keep them up to date, and keep your password and sign-in methods confidential. You are responsible for everything done from your account.

You must be an adult with legal capacity to contract. If you create the account for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it to these terms.

Your contracts and content

The contracts, documents and conversations you add or create are yours. You grant us a limited licence to process and store them only as needed to provide the service to you.

AI output may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing every contract and making sure it suits your situation and applicable regulations before you sign or send it.

When you send a contract to another party, you confirm you have the right to share it and that party's details with us for this purpose.

Acceptable use

You may not use the platform for anything unlawful, to draft contracts meant to defraud or harm others, to try to access other people's accounts or data, to disrupt or overload the platform with automated requests, or to copy or resell the platform without our written permission.

Plans and payment

Plan prices are shown in Saudi riyals, and the order summary shows the final amount and VAT before you pay. A subscription is paid in advance for its period, and we do not renew it automatically without your consent.

Cancellation and refund requests follow the refund policy published on the platform.

Intellectual property

The platform, its design, software and trademark belong to us. These terms give you no rights in them beyond using the platform under these terms.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the platform available at all times; it may pause for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We may develop or change features, and we will tell you about material changes to these terms before they take effect.

Limitation of liability

The platform is provided as is. To the extent the regulations allow, we are not liable for indirect damage or for damage from relying on a draft you did not review, and our liability never exceeds what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the platform at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, while letting you download your contracts unless a regulation or a competent authority prevents it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent courts in the Kingdom have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
